The Tampa Youth Brass Band (TYBB) offers a unique ensemble opportunity for brass and percussion students in grades 7–12 from across the Tampa Bay area.
Modeled after the British-style brass band tradition, TYBB provides students with focused ensemble training, musical growth, and performance experience. Students who play traditional American band instruments are welcome, and no prior brass band experience is required.
All rehearsals are led by professional musicians from the Tampa Brass Band, offering students expert instruction and mentorship throughout the season.
TYBB is ideal for students seeking an additional high-quality musical experience outside of their school ensemble.
